Carolina Tile and Stone

Carolina Tile & Stone first began in 2001 by a husband and wife team who wanted to evolve from their days of tile installation. Les and Alicja opened up their first tile showroom off of South Boulevard in Charlotte, NC and after 20 years have stayed true to their local roots. A large part of working with Carolina Tile & Stone is understanding the owners history. After immigrating from Poland in 1982, just beofre martial law was declared, Les and Alicja landed in America. It was in Charlotte, 4 years later, that they became tile installers on a whim and garnered success. Many years later, they opened up their first showroom and decided the days of physical labor were behind them. They enjoyed selling tile much more than setting tile. Now, with their current showroom in an expansive, 5,000 SF building located in Cornelius, NC they enjoy working with their son and daughter, Dominic and Paulina, who will soon take over the business and lead it to new possibilities. Les and Alicja are grateful for the opportunities that were presented to them and have worked long and hard to preserve. Their legacy, and their business, will continue to cherish the values of hard work, family, and integrity.
